The Role and Team:
The Workplace Experience Specialist plays a key role in creating a positive, connected, and well-supported employee experience across EMARKETER. Sitting within the People Ops arm of our People & Culture team, this role blends workplace operations, employee engagement, internal communications, and culture programming to help foster an environment where employees can do their best work.
Partnering closely with the HR Generalist, Talent & Experience under People Ops, this position executes day-to-day office operations, drives employee engagement initiatives, and delivers internal programming that strengthens connection, collaboration, and company culture. The Ideal Candidate Is:
- People Focused: You enjoy creating experiences that make employees feel welcomed, supported, and connected.
- Operationally Autonomous: You take pride in keeping things organized, running smoothly, and proactively solving workplace problems.

- Relationship Driven: You build trust quickly and enjoy partnering with employees, leaders, and vendors across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-manage day-to-day office operations and workplace environmental standards alongside the HR Generalist to maintain an organized, functional, and employee-friendly office environment.
- Serve as a key point of contact for vendor performance, evaluating service quality and formulating recommendations on vendor selections or contract modifications for People Ops leadership.
- Coordinate facilities requests and workplace logistics, creating thoughtful workplace programming and employee touchpoints.
- Provide backup support for broader workplace operations when team members are out of office.
- Lead the operational planning, design, and execution of company-wide internal events, culture campaigns, and employee engagement programs that strengthen connection and morale.
- Formulate project proposals, outline logistical frameworks, and build budget allocations for review, maintaining day-to-day oversight over event expenses.
- Partner with People Ops leadership to develop programming that reinforces company values and strategic priorities.
- Coordinate employee recognition and appreciation programs that celebrate contributions and reinforce organizational culture.
- Own the content strategy, planning, and distribution of the weekly People & Culture newsletter.
- Exercise judgment in crafting the tone and messaging for employee communications related to workplace experience and culture across Slack, email, and other internal channels.
