As a Government Relations Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Liaise with various government departments and agencies
•  Handle all immigration and work permits related documentation, including visa applications and desert/marine passes.
• Coordinate with the company’s People & Culture team and Immigration team for the onboarding, temporary mobilizations and offboarding of international employees.
• Assist with the renewal of licenses, permits, and other official documents
  Provide guidance and support to staff regarding visa and residency matters.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submission of all required documents

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have bachelor’s degree or a college diploma in a related field.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in public and government relations experience, preferably in the Libya oil and gas sector.
• Be Independent, with the capability to manage end-to-end daily tasks on a timely manner.
• Have a Strong analytical, organizational and time-management abilities.
• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a government relations role within Libya.
• Strong understanding of Libya labor laws and government procedures.
• Understanding of Government departments.
•  Have an Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in the oil and gas expat personnel mobilization requirements.
• Experience with marine visas and processing of work permit applications.
