Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Risk Analyst, Property & Casualty Insurance to join our team in Franklin, TN.

Nissan Risk Management is looking for an energetic professional to provide advanced financial management, reporting, and administration of Nissan Risk Management programs. The candidate should have the ability to manage Nissan’s risk portfolio efficiently and effectively through identification and analysis of risk and treatment of that risk.

A successful candidate must be flexible, have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, be self-driven, able to work well independently, and work collaboratively with teams across the organization and in other countries. The candidate should be able to solve complex problems while achieving key business objectives and reducing Nissan’s total cost of risk.

A Day in the Life:   

The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this role. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed, to support business objectives.

  • Supports managers and Risk Management teams in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial and operational risks in a dynamic environment.

  • Leads design, implementation, and oversight of local, regional, and global insurance programs, optimizing coverage, cost, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Manages insurance renewals, program design, negotiations, and relationships with insurers, brokers, and service providers.

  • Oversees program administration including claims management, loss control activities, and performance audits to ensure compliance with Nissan standards and best practices.

  • Uses data, risk metrics, and financial analysis (loss trends, forecasting, cash flow) to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement.

  • Reviews supplier and contract insurance requirements to ensure alignment with corporate risk policies and standards.

  • Partners cross‑functionally and negotiates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to implement risk management improvements and coverage enhancements.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • 1-7 years of experience in a business role plus a Bachelor's degree.

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in risk management or a related field, with strong knowledge of property & casualty insurance and risk management best practices.

  • Hands on, results driven with strong project management skills and ability to manage and execute multiple, competing priorities effectively. 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user, including the use of VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.

  • Ability to perform work onsite in Franklin, TN.

Desired:

  • Understanding of self‑insurance structures, including reserving practices and captive insurance companies.

  • Professional certifications preferred (ARM, CPCU).

  • Highly analytical and intellectually strong, with the ability to use data to drive insights, improvements, and results.

  • Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills; able to influence and engage effectively at all organizational levels.

  • Customer‑oriented team player who thrives in fast‑paced, changing environments and challenges the status quo to drive transformation.

  • Proven ability to build strategic relationships and lead negotiations to favorable outcomes with insurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
