Role Summary and Impact

Are you a programmatic expert with a passion for driving measurable results and optimizing campaigns across cutting-edge digital platforms? We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Associate Manager, Performance (Programmatic) to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in managing, optimizing, and scaling our paid media campaigns, with a specific focus on programmatic buying, complemented by social and video advertising.   • Drive campaign activation and optimizationwith a primary focus on programmatic platforms (DV360/TTD/Xandr…) This role also involves managing campaigns on key social and video advertising platforms, including YouTube Ads and TikTok Ads. 
  • Discuss campaign briefs and support Planners/Managers in generating programmatic/social media schedules to deliver client objectives. 
  • Campaign Setup & Integrity: Execute precise campaign setup and activation, promptly resolving any tracking or discrepancy queries to ensure accuracy and adherence to best practices. 
  • Budget & Performance Oversight:Accountable for the ongoing management of campaign budgets, daily spend levels, and continuous monitoring of performance against key goals. 
  • Data Analysis & Recommendations: Proactively analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, derive actionable insights, and develop strategic recommendations. Present these findings through impactful mid and post-campaign reports to drive in-flight optimizations and inform future campaign strategies. 
  • Collaborative Client Success: Foster effective collaboration within the team, across GroupM Nexus, and with WPP Media Agencies to ensure seamless campaign delivery and client success throughout the entire lifecycle (briefing, booking, setup, optimization, reporting). 
  • Attain DSP platform or Social platform accreditation/certification. 
  • Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time. 

Skills and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent diploma, in disciplines as STEM, Mass Communications, Digital Advertising/Media, Business Studies or relevant experience. 
  • Experience: 3+ years working experience in Programmatic buying/operations with a trading desk, publisher, or agency managed model. 
  • Platform Expertise: DSPs (e.g: DV360, TTD, Xandr…), Tiktok ads, Google ads 
  • Programmatic Ecosystem Understanding: Understanding of the programmatic buying ecosystem, including the functions of DSPs/SSPs, Real-Time Bidding (RTB) mechanics, ad exchanges, and various deal types. 
  • Ad Format Knowledge: Familiarity with a diverse range of ad formats across platforms, such as YouTube Bumper Ads, Video Reach Campaigns (VRC), Video View Campaigns (VVC), TikTok ad formats, OTT, and Display & Video within Open Exchanges (e.g., Google Display Network)… 
  • Ad Serving & Verification Fundamentals: Basic understanding of ad serving and verification platforms like Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), Integral Ad Science (IAS)/DoubleVerify&am
