Financial Controller – Austria, Hungary & Romania
CEE Region | International Finance Team
We are looking for a Financial Controller who wants to step up, take ownership, and grow into a truly independent finance role – while still being part of a supportive and experienced CEE finance community.
This role covers Austria, Hungary and Romania, three diverse and strategically important markets within our region. It is ideal for someone with around 3+ years of experience in controlling or financial analysis who is ready to move beyond pure reporting and become a true business partner.
🔍 Your Role & Responsibilities
Full responsibility for financial reporting for Austria, Hungary and Romania
Ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements
Active participation in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Supporting process improvements and internal controls
Delivering financial insights that support management decision-making
Close cooperation with sales teams, local management and external auditors
🎯 Your Profile
3+ years of experience in controlling, finance or financial analysis
Solid knowledge of IFRS and experience with local GAAP
English at B2 level or higher (daily working language)
German language skills (at srtong conversational level)
Experience with or exposure to CEE markets is an advantage
Strong analytical mindset, structured thinking and growing independence
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
