Additional Information:

The Qualified Behavioral Health Provider establishes and maintains a supportive client relationship with the goal of improving quality of life and skill development through reinforcement and practice of therapeutic interventions, as directed by the Mental Health Professional. This role must meet the definition of QBHP as defined in the standards for Arkansas Medicaid Providers in the state of Arkansas.

Required Education:

High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Recommended Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.

Description

1. Provides behavioral interventions and community supports to clients receiving outpatient BH services.
2. Works with client and family to address barriers to treatment goal compliance.
3. Maintains positive and supportive relationships with client, family, and support network.
4. Models and reinforces positive life skills in a variety of domains.
5. Assists with crisis stabilization interventions.
6. Monitors and reports client behaviors in all environments.
7. Actively participates as part of the treatment team.
8. Completes timely documentation of services.
9. Other duties as assigned.
