The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CMO, you’ll own Agoda’s brand presence across Asia (Japan, India, Korea, Singapore and beyond). This role combines long-term brand platform development, multi-market media governance, AI-enabled marketing, and executive influence.
You’ll need strong creative judgment, advanced digital media fluency, and the ability to translate brand ambition into measurable commercial impact. You’ll be expected to challenge assumptions, design experiments and iterate quickly, not just apply best-practice playbooks.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own global branding strategy: set long-term ambitions and translate them into measurable priorities across markets; aligned to commercial goals and secure investment approvals.
- Build brand platforms and creative leadership: build scalable creative platforms that strengthen Agoda’s distinctiveness in Asia and deliver campaign-ready ideas. Raise creative briefs and ensure work is culturally relevant and commercially grounded.
- Own media governance: oversee multi-market brand media budgets (TV, OOH, YouTube, Meta, Programmatic, Digital Video). Define channel mix and budget allocation, manage agencies and platform partners, and run an always-on testing roadmap to optimize both brand impact and performance.
- Measure brand impact and govern investment: run and manage brand health studies and prove commercial contribution through data and testing. Design experiments, scale successful tests, and build investment cases for C-Forum approvals.
- Integrate AI into marketing workflows to move fast: integrate practical AI into production, localization and testing to speed execution and improve precision. Embed measurement to ensure AI initiatives move brand KPIs.
- Lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders: lead and scale a high performing regional brand and media team; influence cross-functional stakeholders with clear, data-backed brand investment strategy. Bridge creative ambition and performance accountability when engaging the C-suite.
What You Bring
- Proven Brand Leadership:15+ years of overall experience with minimum 10+ yrs in senior brand or agency roles, with a track record of developing and scaling distinctive, long-term brand platforms in competitive markets.
- Creative & Media Expertise Across Asia: deep experience overseeing multi-market brand campaigns and significant media investments, balancing global consistency with local cultural nuance. Strong understanding of digital media ecosystems and structured testing frameworks.
