Role Overview
The Lead Creative, Graphic Design plays a key role in concepting and producing exceptional work across digital and traditional formats. This is a hands-on design role for someone with strong aesthetic instincts, advanced design skills, and a strategic mindset. Candidates should demonstrate independent judgment, an eye for detail, and the ability to work fluidly across platforms, formats, and brand systems.
This position is ideal for a designer who thrives in cross-disciplinary environments and is curious about new tools and approaches to visual storytelling. Candidates should be comfortable using — or learning — creative workflows that integrate generative tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Adobe Firefly, or similar. Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT or Gemini is also expected. While deep or extensive AI experience is not mandatory, candidates must demonstrate comfort with AI-assisted tools and provide work samples that reflect real-world use.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept Development & Execution
Develop best-in-class visual work across static and motion formats, including display ads, social content, websites, branding assets, and presentation design. - Creative Production & Iteration
Collaborate with art directors and motion designers to develop visuals using a combination of traditional design tools and generative technologies. - Brand Systems & Consistency
Apply and evolve visual identities across campaigns and formats, maintaining consistency while adapting to platform needs and performance goals. - Creative Problem-Solving
Bring clarity and structure to open-ended design challenges. Know how to explore, simplify, and polish work to meet both creative and business goals. - Collaboration & Communication
Partner with Art Directors, Copywriters, Motion Designers, and Creative Directors to bring ideas to life and ensure cross-functional alignment. - Mentorship & Feedback
Provide clear and constructive critique to junior designers, and contribute to a collaborative creative culture. - Project Ownership
Manage time and tasks across multiple assignments, meeting deadlines with work that balances experimentation and polish. Must be able to work independently and maintain a high level of attention to detail, including quality-checking all work before handoff.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, and other relevant design tools.
- Understanding of core design principles: typography, layout, composition, color theory, and brand systems.
- Experience creating multi-channel assets across social, display, email, and video formats.
