ABOUT THE ROLE

The FATP Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) drives continuous improvement across our supply chain and business partners. Primary responsibilities include ensuring product quality and timely deliveries from key contract manufacturers and sub-suppliers, developing new suppliers, and implementing measurable improvement programs with supplier leadership. This data-driven role leverages QMS assessments, quality tools, risk analysis, project management, and leadership skills.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

Quality Systems: Maintain and enhance company QMS to meet regulatory and Peloton requirements for process and product control
Supplier Management: Represent overseas quality team onsite; train and mentor staff; communicate project goals; provide technical guidance; manage supplier audit program and recommend new audits
Product Development: Serve on Peloton product teams as SQE lead; support design control, program management, and quality planning from design through manufacturing; approve/re-approve suppliers for Approved Supplier List (ASL)
Process Verification/Validation: Advise on statistical methods, test equipment, process validation, and equipment qualification (IQ/OQ)
Production Support: Develop quality inspection procedures (sampling plans); create inspection methodologies, fixtures, and measurement systems; monitor and resolve supplier quality issues
Auditing: Lead annual risk-based audit plans; conduct supplier, internal, and external GMP/ISO audits; support production qualification, continuous improvement, and compliance; report findings, track closures, and confirm follow-up actions
Documentation: Create/review/approve controlled documents (audit plans/reports, NCRs, work instructions, specs, validation protocols) in electronic systems; maintain ASL records
Training: Deliver GMP/ISO, Quality Systems, Supplier Quality, and Safety training; develop/maintain training materials and records
Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality policies via product reviews, troubleshooting manufacturing/testing/validation issues; handle MRB, CAPA, process control, complaints, calibration, and validation activities
Lead product quality assurance strategy in development projects
Form/initiate cross-functional teams for problem-solving and mistake-proofing
Track/report contract manufacturer KPIs to leadership
Support VAVE initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma for supply chain improvements

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
3–6 years in Quality Engineering/auditing (automotive experience preferred)
Expertise in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO/IEC 17025, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D
Proficient in Gage R&R, capability studies, GD&T, blueprints, engineering specs
Strong auditing, process validation, metrology, and inspection skills
Excellent English communication (written/verbal); multilingual preferred
Independent/team player; up to 60% travel
Familiarity with agile/scrum and QA integration
