We are seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Workover Supervisor to oversee and manage workover operations on oil and gas wells. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective execution of workover projects while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and environmental standards.


 

Job Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to

  • Supervise and coordinate daily workover operations across a fleet of multiple pulling units, working on wells with ESP, rod pump, and gas lift forms of artificial lift.
  • Lead and manage a workover team, providing guidance and training to ensure safe and effective execution of operations.
  • Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and field teams to optimize workover schedules and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and manage operational costs to stay within budget while maintaining high productivity.
  • Write and enter detailed daily operations reports, tubing & rod details, ESP details, and daily cost details in WellView.
  • Coordinate with Production Foremen & Lease Operators when wells are ready to be returned to Production
  • Assist in the procurement process of selecting vendors that assist in day-to-day operations.

Required Qualifications:

  •  High school graduate.
  • Minimum 10 years industry experience. Permian experience a plus.
  •  Significant Completions / Workover / Well Maintenance experience
  •  Self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  •  Proficient in WellView, OpenTicket, and OpenInvoice.
  •  Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Good communicator, team player, and problem solver.
  •  Be current on well control training.
  •  Industry training in areas of artificial lift, stimulation, well completions, and well control.
  •  Must pass a pre-employment background screen and drug test.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
