We call this Team Intelligence: human-AI collaboration that breaks down silos, brings people back together, and frees you to solve bigger problems. Backed by Khosla Ventures and Mayfield with $150M+ raised, DevRev is trusted by global companies across industries.
As part of DevRev's Revenue organization in India, PDRs are responsible for expanding DevRev's customer base across the Indian market and building a healthy revenue pipeline. You'll work closely with Partner Business Manager to drive top-of-funnel activity, refine go-to-market messaging for the India market, and provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
Partner prospecting & activation
- Identify and reach out to prospective reseller, referral, and solutions partners in your region.
- Qualify partner fit based on customer base alignment, industry focus, and revenue potential.
- Set up introductory meetings between prospective partners and the Partner Business Manager (PBM) or Account Executive.

- Support partners in submitting deal registrations and ensure accurate tracking in DevRev.
- Follow up on partner-sourced leads to ensure timely progression through the sales cycle.
AI-powered research & outreach

- Leverage AI to personalize outreach at scale — crafting relevant messaging for partner contacts based on their industry, customer base, and current tech stack.
- Use AI-assisted workflows to automate follow-up sequences, track engagement signals, and prioritize outreach.
Partner enablement support
- Assist in coordinating partner onboarding activities, including access to training materials, certifications, and the partner portal.
- Organize and support partner events, webinars, and co-marketing activities to drive engagement and pipeline.
- Act as the first point of contact for partner queries, routing them to the right internal teams.
CRM & reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all partner interactions, deal registrations, and pipeline activity in DevRev.
- Provide weekly updates on partner pipeline health, outreach activity, and conversion metrics.
Ideal candidate qualifications
- BA/BS or equivalent educational or professional experience.
- 5–10 years of prior experience in partner development, channel sales, or business development, with a proven track record of building and managing partner-led pipelines.
- Prior experience as a Partner Development Representative (PDR) or in a similar partner-facing sales role is strongly preferred.
- Experience selling SaaS or IT-related products to Indian enterprises or mid-market companies through a partner/channel model.
- Demonstrated ability to activate and scale reseller, referral, or solutions partners to drive net-new revenue.
- Comfortable using AI tools for research, outreach, and workflow automation — or eager to learn fast.
- Familiarity with sales engagement platforms (Outplay, Salesloft, or similar).
- Strong understanding of the Indian tech ecosystem — key verticals, buying cycles, and decision-making structures.
- Outstanding communication in English; proficiency in Hindi or a regional language is a plus.
- Ability to build rapport quickly across diverse stakeholders — from partner reps to C-suite decision-makers.
