As a Demi Chef de Partie Breakfast, you'll play an important role in creating the perfect start to our guests' day. Breakfast is one of the most important moments of the guest journey, and we are looking for someone who understands the pace, precision, and attention to detail that a successful breakfast operation requires. At Celia, guests enjoy both an extensive breakfast buffet and a freshly prepared à la carte menu, creating a dynamic and varied service environment. You'll support the team in delivering memorable morning experiences while continuing to develop your culinary skills in a positive and welcoming environment.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and presenting breakfast dishes from our à la carte menu with consistency, quality, and attention to detail.

• Assisting in the preparation, replenishment, and presentation of the breakfast buffet, ensuring it remains fresh, attractive, and fully stocked throughout service.

• Taking ownership of your section during breakfast service and ensuring dishes are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

• Supporting a smooth operation across both buffet and à la carte service during busy morning periods.

• Assisting with mise en place and daily preparations to ensure the kitchen is fully prepared before service begins.

• Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organisation.

• Monitoring stock levels and helping to minimise waste.

• Working closely with a passionate team to create memorable guest experiences from the very first meal of the day.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie.

• Experience within a hotel breakfast operation, brunch concept, or restaurant offering both buffet and à la carte breakfast service is a strong advantage.

• Strong understanding of breakfast preparation, egg cookery, buffet presentation, and high volume morning service.

• Ability to work efficiently in an environment where buffet maintenance and à la carte production run simultaneously.

• A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop.

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced kitchen environment and remain organised under pressure.

• Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

• Good command of English.
