How you will make history here…
Manage the Logistics function of the site, which includes directing and leading the activities of the Planning, Distribution, and Purchasing groups to ensure that plant goals and objectives are met. Give strategic direction in these areas to drive TDC, customer service, produce to demand, and other corporate initiatives. Overall accountability for finished product, capacity planning, distribution center and warehouse inventory, and broker relations. Work closely with sales to link forecasts to purchasing and inventory management. Identify areas for cost reductions and implement strategies for cost reduction and containment. by the use of planning and optimization tools to improve efficiencies and customer service levels.
What you will do…
- Provide leadership and direction to Manager of Planning, Manager of Purchasing, and Manager of Distribution
- Manage the execution of strategic logistic initiatives designed to reduce lead-time, lower on-hand inventory requirements, minimize costs and provide agile and responsive distribution.
- Provide network leadership for SAP process development and design.
- Collaborate in evaluating and negotiating logistics and transportation service provider contracts and agreements. Drive solutions that leverage the company's volumes, systems and partnerships while providing consistently high levels of service in a cost-effective manner.
- Develop and maintain KPI's for logistics planning and forecasting. Monitor and compare trends against key driver projections. Design and integrate performance metric and continuous improvement strategies to attain 'best in class' logistics network performance.
- Prepare timely, accurate management information and reporting as specified and requested by Corporate. Oversee the analysis of data to establish trends or uncover possible areas for logistics improvement.
- Stay abreast of corporate and global logistics industry strategic initiatives. Articulate the cost and service impacts these initiatives will have on the network infrastructure.
- Provide leadership in mentoring and developing team members that emphasizes the importance of the Campbell Way of Working – OpEx, teamwork, collaboration and sharing of information, resources and best practices that will maintain a high performing, customer-focused logistics team.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external business partners and actively support cross functional initiatives to drive improved overall business performance.
- Ensure a clean, properly organized, safe and healthy environment for all personnel, including all facilities and equipment in a good state of repair.
- Establish and deliver financial goals, budgets, and operating plans for logistics operations.

- Developing a plan for production levels required to manage finished product inventory to meet Company goals and/or customer demands. Provide direction to management to react to changing sales levels

What you bring to the table (must haves)…
- Minimum education required: HS diploma or equivalent
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse logistics and/or plant operations
It would be great to have (nice to haves)…
- BA in Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics or related field
- Prior food/beverage or CPG manufacturing experience
- Management experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Demonstrated business planning, financial analysis, negotiation and customer satisfaction skills.
- Working knowledge and experience in all areas of transportation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective organization and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, change management and presentation skills (written & verbal).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve customer complaints and problems and restore or maintain business.
- Effective organization and analytical skills, including the ability to prioritize projects, and respond to requests for information and clear timely reporting, lead a team and leverage organizational resources.
- Experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma tools.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Windows products.
- Experience in international logistics (import/export regulations).
- A proven relentless passion for excellence.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$144,600-$207,900Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
