We are now excited to invite applications for the role of Digital Director with our awesome team in Perth. 

The role: 

As the Digital Director, you are the senior digital leader for Carat WA, responsible for setting the strategic vision for digital, driving operational excellence, and building a high‑performing, future‑ready digital team.

You will work in close partnership with Client Directors, Client Partners and the broader Carat WA leadership team to deliver integrated campaign excellence, unlock digital growth opportunities, and represent Carat WA’s digital capability in market. 

Core responsibilities: 

• Set and lead the strategic direction for digital across Carat WA, defining best‑practice standards across performance, programmatic and SEO. 

• Partner closely with client leadership to embed digital strategy into account plans, media recommendations and commercial proposals. 

• Lead, inspire and develop the digital team, fostering a culture of high performance, specialist excellence, innovation and continuous learning. 

• Drive digital growth opportunities across the client portfolio through advanced platforms, data‑driven targeting, measurement innovation and cross‑network capability. 

• Act as the senior digital escalation point, providing confident leadership across complex performance, platform and strategic challenges. 

A bit about you: 

• 6–10+ years of experience in digital media, with deep expertise across performance, programmatic, SEO, data and measurement. 

• A proven people leader who builds, develops and retains high‑performing specialist teams through coaching, delegation and open feedback. 

• Commercially confident, with experience driving digital revenue growth and managing delivery against scoped or contracted hours. 

• An exceptional communicator who can translate complex digital thinking into clear, compelling recommendations for senior stakeholders. 

• Experienced working within an agency environment, partnering effectively with client services and strategy teams.
