Job Description

As part of our Software Development organization, you will join the iQ team as a Tech Lead who drives architecture, leads developers, ensures technical excellence, and contributes to delivering high-quality solutions for thousands of users worldwide.

You combine strong hands-on C# engineering skills with the ability to guide a team, shape technical direction, design robust solutions, and ensure that development standards are consistently met. Your Responsibilities 

  • Lead the technical design and architecture of new features and system improvements 

  • Ensure consistent adoption of engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines 

  • Make decisions on tools, frameworks, and technologies together with the team and stakeholders 

  • Drive modernization initiatives across the .NET ecosystem (.NET 10+, cloud readiness, modularization, etc.) 

  • Develop and maintain core product components using C#, WPF, WebAPI, SQL Server, and .NET frameworks 

  • Write clean, testable, secure, and well documented code 

  • Perform and oversee complex code reviews and guide refactoring efforts 

  • Collaborate closely with QA to ensure testability and product quality 

  • Mentor and coach developers at different seniority levels

  • Foster knowledge sharing, technical discussions, and continuous improvement

  • Support backlog definition together with business analysts/product owners 

  • Coordinate with QA, DevOps, Support, and other development teams to ensure smooth delivery

  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical breakdown of user stories 

  • Ensure that solutions meet performance, security, and reliability requirements 

  • Lead investigation of complex incidents, root-cause analysis, and long-term fixes 

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and development workflows 

 

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 

  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Developer, incl. 2+ years in a senior/lead capacity 

  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, C#, .NET Framework (4.8) and .NET 8+ 

  • Solid experience with Visual Studio 2022 or higher, WPF, WebAPI, and SQL Server (2016+) 

  • Good understanding of architectural patterns (DDD, layered architecture, modular design) 

  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and refactoring 

  • Strong communication skills, ability to lead and motivate a team 

  • Experience in Agile development (Scrum) 

  • Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure, containerization, distributed systems) and knowledge of IP management business domain is considered as a plus

  • Fluency in English in mandatory, French and/or German is a strong asset
