About the role

Position Summary

As the Website Manager for Samsung's brand in Israel, you will lead the brand's central digital asset, the primary touchpoint for millions of users with Samsung's products, services, and values. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, management of multiple interfaces (local and global), and mastery of cutting-edge technological tools, including generative AI tools that have become an integral part of the digital world.

Role and Responsibilities

Areas of Responsibility

1. Content Management & Content Operations

  • Oversee the creation, editorial revision, and ongoing updates of website content and official product catalog, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and full alignment with local and global campaigns and product launches.
  • Manage a Content Calendar synchronized with product launches, promotions, and marketing activities.
  • Strategic use of generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to accelerate writing processes, localization, translation, and content quality control — while maintaining the brand's Tone of Voice.

2. SEO, GEO & AEO – Visibility in the New Search Era

  • Lead technical and content SEO strategy: keyword research, On-Page optimization, Structured Data / Schema, and internal linking management.
  • GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization): optimize website content to appear and be cited in responses from AI-powered search engines (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Gemini) — a domain becoming critical for brand visibility.
  • Monitor Core Web Vitals and performance speed, and work with development teams for continuous improvement.
  • Ongoing management of external SEO agencies, including KPI definition and deliverable control.

3. Analytics, Measurement & Business Insights

  • Continuous analysis of website performance, user behavior, and customer journeys using GA4, Adobe Analytics, and Heatmaps/Session Recording tools.
  • Build periodic reports and dashboards for management, including actionable insights.
  • Lead CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) processes: A/B testing experiments, funnel optimization, and conversion rate improvement in collaboration with the online store.

4. User Experience (UX/UI) & Personalization

  • Continuous monitoring and analysis of user experience, identifying barriers and improvement points, and implementing improvements.
  • Lead personalization initiatives and content adaptation for different audiences and segments.
  • Commitment to Mobile-First principles — most traffic comes from mobile.
  • Responsibility for website compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 / IS 5568) and privacy regulatory requirements (including Amendment 13 to the Privacy Protection Law, Cookies & Consent Management).

5. Landing Page & Marketing Assets Creation – Hands-on

  • Build, design, and optimize dedicated landing pages for campaigns and launches — end-to-end.
  • Ongoing work with Adobe Photoshop and Creative Cloud tools for editing and adapting visual assets, banners, and product images.
  • Use AI tools for creating visuals and video (Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, etc.) in accordance with brand guidelines.

6. Website Maintenance, Security & Technical Operations

  • Troubleshooting technical issues, managing system updates and plugins, and ongoing quality control (Monitoring & Uptime).
  • Ongoing work with the organizational content management system (Adobe Experience Manager – AEM) in collaboration with local and global IT teams.
  • Commitment to information security standards and compliance with global brand procedures.

7. Project Management & Cross-Organizational Interfaces

  • End-to-end management of digital projects: specification, timeline, budget, QA, and launch.
  • Close collaboration with marketing, design, sales, product management, and IT teams — locally and with global headquarters.
  • Close and daily interface management with the official online store (Samsung Online Store) — syncing products, promotions, and customer journeys.

8. External Vendor Management

  • Ongoing and consistent management of external vendors: SEO agencies, translation and localization providers, design studios, and development providers — including quality control, timeline, and budget.

Skills and Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience of 3+ years managing a website for an international brand/large organization; an advantage in the technology or consumer products industry.
  • Proven knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, editing and adapting visual assets on an ongoing basis (mandatory).
  • Knowledge and ability to work with central AI engines and services (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Midjourney/Firefly) , integrating them into daily work processes: content, visuals, research, and analysis (mandatory).
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of SEO and GEO — including familiarity with the generative search world (AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity) and its impact on brand visibility (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in organizational content management systems (CMS) and strong understanding of Web technologies.
  • Expertise in analytics tools: GA4 and/or Adobe Analytics, and proven ability to extract business insights from traffic data.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects: prioritization, meeting timelines, and interface management.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles, design, accessibility (WCAG / IS 5568), and Mobile-First.
  • Very high level of English — ongoing work with global headquarters (mandatory).
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to work cross-organizationally, and service-oriented approach.
  • Initiative and proactivity: ability to independently identify needs and opportunities and drive initiatives with product managers and marketing managers, without waiting to be asked.
  • High service orientation: perceiving the role as an internal service provider: availability, quick response, patience, and genuine desire to help and support business teams.
  • Big picture thinking, hands-on approach, attention to detail, and passion for best-in-class digital experiences.
