Job Summary
- Analyzing & understanding assigned requirements from an end user perspective and translating them into software requirements.
- Design and develop embedded firmware for wireless sensor devices integrated into lighting luminaires.
- Implement embedded lighting controllers according to standards such as DALI and PWM.
- Integrate wireless communication protocols (e.g., Zigbee, BLE) to ensure reliable data transfer to the IoT cloud.
- Participate in hardware bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Implementation of key modules and can develop quick working prototypes (when necessary)
- Coaching junior team members in software engineering aspects.
- Identifying and resolving technical risks
More about you
While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly at this job opening:
- Hands-on experience of 12+ years in embedded software development on MIPS/ARM devices
- Hands-on experience in programming language: C is must and C++ is preferred
- Hands on experience in embedded ROTS
- Experience working with ARM Cortex based microcontrollers and SoCs.
- Knowledge of wireless protocols (e.g., Zigbee, BLE or Wi-Fi) and relevant stacks.
- Working experience with Silicon Labs SoCs, Simplicity Studio and GSDK radio stack is a plus.
- Ability to work with hardware schematics, debugging tools, and lab instrumentation.
- Experience with IAR embedded workbench and compiler set is a plus.
- Experienced in unit testing using NUnit
- Repository management experience using GIT
