Material Flow Specialist, Battery Sorting
The Sorting Specialist is a hands-on role supporting battery sorting operations. This position plays a key role in keeping production running smoothly by moving materials, receiving deliveries, and preparing finished items for shipment. In this role, you will work directly on the battery sorting line, handling materials as they move into, through, and out of automated sorting equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
Shift: Monday-Friday Days
Responsibilities will include:
- Handle, move, and sort batteries and associated packaging using forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Operate and support automated sorting equipment by feeding materials, monitoring performance, making routine adjustments, and escalating issues as needed
- Comply with all safety and PPE requirements, including wearing a fitted respirator for the full shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior work in a warehouse or around continuously operating equipment is preferred
- Strong forklift experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with the ability to safely perform repetitive sorting tasks
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
