    • On-site blood donor program to support our emergency and critical care cases

Schedule

  • The schedule is mainly composed of day and swing shifts, with the occasional overnight shift.

  • 10 shifts per month on the floor seeing patients and1-2 shifts per month attending to MD responsibilities (admin tasks, medical records reviews, doctor meetings, etc.)

  • Day shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Swing shift: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM

  • Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

  • Rotating weekends and holidays

  • Emergency and critical care cases, including dogs, cats, and exotics

Total Rewards

As a VCA Associate, eligible full-time employees will be rewarded with a comprehensive package, including: 

Compensation

  • Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. The salary range listed is based on a 40-hour work week. 

  • Medical Director stipend (paid biweekly) and Medical Director annual bonus

  • Sign on/relocation/longevity bonuses available  

  • This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent

  • Licensure in good standing to practice in (WI), or the ability to obtain

  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
