Manages the activities and personnel of the IT Support center (help desk). Ensures the operation is in accordance with the established procedures and practices. Monitors performance of support personnel, reviewing response times, problem logs, and trends in problems reported. Recommends strategies and/or hardware/software enhancements to increase employee productivity. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Leads a team of direct reports.

1. Factory IT Operations & Infrastructure

  • Own and manage day‑to‑day IT operations for the Tianjin factory, including:
    • Network, servers, PCs, printers, barcode systems, and shop‑floor IT设备
    • User support for office and factory users (OT & IT)
  • Ensure high system availability and rapid incident resolution to minimize production disruption
  • Manage local IT vendors and service providers effectively

2. Manufacturing Systems & ERP Support

  • Act as primary IT owner for ERP systems (e.g., iScala), barcode systems, inventory, and production‑related applications
  • Coordinate system upgrades, fixes, and enhancements with APAC / Global IT teams
  • Support month‑end, inventory counts, costing, and audit‑related system activities

3. Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with MFT / Marmon IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and audit requirements
  • Enforce:
    • Endpoint protection (e.g., EDR, patching, antivirus)
    • Access control, account lifecycle management
    • Data protection and backup compliance
  • Support internal and external IT audits, including remediation tracking

4. Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead and deliver local IT projects, such as:
    • Factory digitalization initiatives
    • Hardware refresh and infrastructure upgrades
    • Process automation and efficiency improvements
  • Identify opportunities to improve stability, productivity, and cost efficiency
  • Apply Lean / 5S / 80‑20 principles to IT operations where appropriate

5. Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

  • Act as trusted IT partner to Tianjin factory leadership and functional teams
  • Coordinate closely with APAC IT, Global IT, Finance, and Operations
  • Provide clear communication on incidents, project status, and risks

6. Vendor & Asset Management

  • Manage IT assets lifecycle (purchase, deployment, maintenance, disposal)
  • Control local IT budget and vendor contracts within approved limits
  • Ensure IT procurement aligns with corporate standards and security requirements

7. Power BI Reports & Dashboard Management

  • Manage Crystal Report, Power BI reports and dashboards for the APAC & China operation, covering areas such as:
    • Inventory, production, and operational KPIs
    • Finance and month‑end analysis support
    • IT service performance and system health metrics
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness for factory and management reporting
  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Management to:
    • Translate business requirements into meaningful dashboards
    • Continuously improve report usability and insights
  • Support standardization of dashboards and KPIs in alignment with APAC / global reporting standards
  • Maintain documentation for reports, data sources, and key definitions to support audit and continuity
