The Project Manager creates and executes project work plans based on department specific data. Responsible for designing, creating, deploying and managing department specific data. Additionally, they are responsible to define how the mined data is consumed, integrated and managed by data consumers, data entities and information technology systems. Essential Functions
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Effectively communicates in both written and verbal business management discussions
- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards
- Organize department data at the macro and micro levels.
- Configuration of electronic health record to allow extraction of the required data.
- Interpret data to provide actionable insights for management.
- Provide logistical data models and reports as a standard.
- Work closely with the staff to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making.
- Conduct analytics to build required business modeling for growth.
- Merge, manage, interrogate and extract data to supply tailored reports to colleagues, customers or the wider organization.
- Maintain clear and coherent communication both verbally and written to understand data needs and report results.
- Utilize computer learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems.
- Produce clear reports that tell compelling stories about how customers or clients work with organization.
- Conduct projects that entail use of data
- Conduct research, develop prototypes and proof of concepts.
- Seek opportunities to use insights, datasets, code or models across other functions in the organization
- Remain curious and enthusiastic about utilizing algorithms to solve problems and enthuse others to see the benefits of our services.
- Plays a lead role in departmental Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement/ Performance Improvement activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required):
- Various administrative duties and special projects as needed
- Demonstrates ability to navigate appropriate and necessary software systems unique to specialty pharmacy.
- Proficiency in of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Power Point.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, with physicians/medical staff, patients, insurance companies and other staff.
- Strong organization skills, with ability to multitask, collate data from many sources and manage several tasks at any one time.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the organization.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, project management, healthcare or related field required
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of data analytics - healthcare setting preferred.
- 1 to 2 years project management – healthcare setting preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of healthcare experience (Pharmacy preferred).
Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
