Sr. Lead - MTR Audio visual

Role Overview
The AV Operations Lead will be responsible for managing end-to-end Audio-Visual (AV) operations for India region and support global counter partners in deployment, operation, and support of Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), Audio-Visual systems, meeting spaces, digital workplace technologies, and IT site operations. Ensure seamless collaboration experiences, high system availability, and delivery of AV/IT projects while managing vendors, stakeholders, and support teams. This requires strong technical expertise in Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), AV systems, and AV/MTRs operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily AV operations, ensuring smooth functioning of meeting rooms, boardrooms, training rooms, cafés, and collaboration spaces.
- Act as the primary escalation point for critical AV incidents and drive resolution by coordinating with internal vendors and stakeholders.
- Monitor room health, utilization, and performance. Drive automation in reporting and self-healing capabilities.
- Manage and guide onsite AV technicians and vendor teams to deliver high-quality operational support and service delivery
- Monitor AV systems health proactively and troubleshooting issues related to MTR, AV peripherals, and connectivity.
- Work closely with Network, Firewall, Azure, and Engineering teams for L2/L3 issue resolution and system integrations.
- Ensure proper ticket management using SNOW (ServiceNow), including Incident (INC), Service Requests, and Change Requests.
- Support and manage digital signage systems and content distribution (multicast/unicast environments).
- Identify recurring issues and drive permanent fixes through root cause analysis and process improvements.
- Provide support during critical meetings, town halls, and webcast sessions to ensure uninterrupted experience.
- Responsible for AV Asset Management, tracking and FAR annual verification, coordinating with STPI / SEZ for compliance of Asset and Maintenance of AV Asset records.
- Manage OEM/vendors (e.g., Godrej, Crestron, integrators), track SLAs, and collaborate with global IT, facilities, and business stakeholders.
- Standardize SOPs, audit checklists, and ensure adherence to global AV standards, security, and compliance requirements.
Technical Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) solutions.
- Familiarity with AV OEMs such as Crestron, Poly, NEAT.
- Hands-on experience with AV setups across different room types (boardrooms, training rooms, open spaces).
- Basic understanding of digital signage systems, including multicast/unicast concepts.
- Working knowledge of audio systems and signal flow, with exposure to OEMs like Biamp, QSC, Shure etc.
- Understanding of AV programming tools (Crestron, Biamp, QSC) is preferred.
- Knowledge of collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webcast, On24, and BYOD environments.
Leadership & Behavioral Skills
- Strong leadership capability to manage and motivate AV support teams and vendors.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve critical issues with a structured approach.
- Excellent coordination skills to work with cross-functional stakeholders (IT, Facilities, Engineering).
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Experience
- 12+ years of Experience in AV deployment & Operations. Relevant experience of 3-5 years managing the lead role.
- Experience in enterprise AV environments or global AV operations support.
- Experience managing AV deployment projects.
- Exposure to large-scale AV deployments and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with AV monitoring tools and operational frameworks.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale conferencing environments
- Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, and incident handling skills
- Hands-on experience with MTR deployments, Crestron/Q-SYS ecosystems, and enterprise collaboration environments
- Preferred to have certification on AI900, AZ900 and M365 etc.
