How you’ll make an impact

Leverage your expertise in executive office governance and operations, enterprise-level business issues, strategic planning and communications to provide professional advice and support to the CEO and Chief of Staff and ensure the executive office enables effective enterprise decision-making and seamless execution of CEO priorities.

As an Executive Manager, Office of the CEO, you’ll play a key role in supporting enterprise leadership by managing high-priority requests, preparing materials and speeches, and coordinating activities with senior leaders across the organization. Your strong analytical thinking and communication skills will enable you to monitor critical priorities, provide recommendations and support informed decision-making at the executive level.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for critical or high-priority requests and approvals for the CEO

  • Review, analyze and critique requests, reports and approvals, and recommend options for action

  • Identify solutions and provide recommendations on a variety of complex issues

  • Prepare the CEO for internal and external meetings and speaking engagements, including research, materials and speeches

  • Coordinate Enterprise Management Team (EMT) meetings, including agendas, logistics, presenter guidance and minutes

  • Act as a liaison with external stakeholders, including the minister’s office and industry associations

  • Represent the executive office on committees or at meetings, as delegated

  • Oversee the executive office budget, including forecasting, variance analysis and recommendations

What you’ll bring to the team

Required qualifications:

  • A degree in business administration or a related field or discipline

  • Minimum seven years of experience handling business issues at an enterprise level (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Proven expertise in executive-level communication, including writing and editing strategic materials and speeches

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Experience coordinating senior leadership meetings and enterprise-level activities

  • Advanced proficiency in both official languages (English and French)
