Hasbro’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) platform connects fans worldwide through seamless, intelligent, and data-driven digital commerce experiences. Our platform enables brand partners to serve exciting product drops, premium membership benefits, digital product fulfillment, collector-focused experiences, an integrated content hub, interactive community features, and HasLab crowdfunding.

As a Software Development Engineer on the Direct-to-Consumer e-commerce team, you will build, improve, and support complex systems that bring Hasbro’s iconic brands to life online. You’ll work to create high-performing, resilient, and innovative systems that power digital experiences for our customers.

What you'll do

  • Build scalable, cross-platform applications using a variety of technologies and infrastructure.
  • Design and write maintainable, high-quality features in a team-based development environment.
  • Adhere to and improve coding standards and code integration and deployment processes.
  • Build automated tests and use CI/CD to ensure product reliability.
  • Investigate and resolve issues across unfamiliar codebases and domains, driving solutions that improve performance and user experience.
  • Work with team members and partners to solve customer problems.
  • Contribute to improving team developer experience, documentation, and collaboration.
  • Stay up to date on new technologies and bring forward innovative ideas to enhance the product and platform.

What you'll bring

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience building and maintaining e-commerce systems.
  • Expertise in Apex, Java, Typescript, React, or similar languages.
  • Experience developing with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Event Bridge) or equivalent cloud technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively with collaborators and leadership.

Bonus Modifier

  • Experience working with Salesforce, especially Salesforce Order Management or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Experience building and supporting third-party integrations, including integrating with payment providers like PayPal, Stripe, etc.
  • Experience with high-scale fulfillment, payment, or order management systems
  • Experience with development practices that prioritize testing.
  • Passion for Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast brands.
