About the Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.

We’re looking for a talented Senior Sales Engineer to join our Commercial Expansion team to drive revenue growth across key existing Commercial accounts. In this role, you will partner closely with Account Managers (AMs), Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and Sales leadership to identify, develop, and close expansion opportunities within your book of business.

Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

Your focus will be on increasing customer value and revenue by:

  • Selling into additional business units
  • Expanding new use cases
  • Introducing new connectors and product capabilities
  • Expand platform value and adoption across teams
     

You will serve as the technical owner of expansion motions and be accountable for achieving the technical win that drives measurable revenue growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive expansion opportunities across a defined set of Commercial accounts
  • Identify new use cases, whitespace opportunities, and additional business units
  • Lead technical discovery for upsell and cross-sell motions
  • Position new connectors, extended offerings, and advanced product capabilities
  • Partner with AMs and CSMs to identify usage signals and expansion readiness
  • Drive conversations around data growth, new pipelines, and broader adoption
  • Help customers scale architecture to support increased volume and complexity
