Job Description:
The Accounts Receivable Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls. This role requires a strong leader who can guide and mentor the AR team, drive process excellence, and maintain high standards of service delivery. The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive, eager to learn, and capable of managing dynamic, fast‑paced operational requirements—including flexibility with shift timings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the Accounts Receivable team to ensure efficient and accurate completion of all AR processes.
- Oversee invoicing, collections, cash application, credit management, reconciliations, and dispute resolution activities.
- Monitor AR aging and drive timely follow‑ups to minimize past‑due balances and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, audit requirements, and data protection standards.
- Review and maintain documented DLPs (Desktop Level Procedures) regularly to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Sales, Operations, and Finance—to resolve customer inquiries and improve end‑to‑end process quality.
- Prepare and present AR performance reports, dashboards, and risk assessments to senior management.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement enhancements for operational efficiency.
- Support system upgrades, automation initiatives, and new process transitions as required.
- Ensure strong internal controls, proper documentation, and adherence to compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (CA, CMA, CPA) preferred.
- 5–8+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, including team management experience.
- Strong understanding of AR processes, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working in a shared services or multinational environment is an advantage.
- At least six months employment track at current position in UPS (for internal candidates only).

- Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), MS Office Suite, and reporting tools.
- Detail Orientation: High accuracy level and strong focus on compliance and documentation, including periodic DLP reviews.
- Language Skills: fluent English
