About the role
Key Responsibility Areas
Tire Testing
- You monitor annual testing of Goodyear tires produced by ACE Tyres and share updates with the regional team.
- You lead WPO activities at the Farm Centre and ensure all tools and equipment at the test centre are in good working condition.
- You prepare and follow test plans for regulatory (BIS/ECE) and internal requirements for farm and commercial tires.
- You conduct tests such as R41, Plunger, Resistance to Burst, Dimension, Endurance, Deflection, and Footprint, and report results to your team.
Process Quality Assurance
- You ensure process audit compliance and drive closure of issues including abnormalities, customer actions, FTR improvements, calibration, and traceability.
- You monitor tire weight to ensure it stays within limits, perform component studies, and collaborate with source departments for timely corrective actions.
- You manage mold re-certification based on previous day’s mold changes and ensure full compliance.
Product Quality Assurance
- You carry out PDI activities in line with defined standards, SOPs, and customer-specific requirements.
- You ensure proper tire storage and promptly clear non-conforming inventory from the warehouse.
- You track and monitor customer returns of tires and tubes.
- You lead PDI projects using controlled cages to prevent unauthorized tire movement to customers.
Engagement & Compliance
- You prepare and share weekly and monthly regional reports, including performance and QI reports.
- You maintain 100% compliance with LPA requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- You bring at least 10 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong track record of driving compliance and continuous improvement.
