Senior Cyber Security Analyst – 3rd Shift (Monday–Friday, 3 PM–11 PM)

Responsibilities:
Lead advanced security operations and guide real‑time monitoring across cyber and network sensors.
Analyze and correlate security events across multiple enterprise sources to identify emerging threats.
Conduct incident triage, assess urgency and impact, and recommend immediate remediation actions.
Track incidents from initial detection through resolution while evaluating impact to data and infrastructure.
Perform trend analysis, prepare detailed reports, and contribute to continuous engineering improvements.
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain a proactive and ready cyber posture.
Support continuous operations in a dynamic 24/7 environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
An active NRO TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
Bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years of equivalent hands-on cyber experience.
5+ years in cybersecurity with a focus on incident response or malware analysis.
Active IAT Level II certification (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, CCNA‑Security, or equivalent).
Proficiency with Windows and Linux environments.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, database/OS security concepts, and modern threat landscapes
Familiarity with current security principles, protocols, and best practices.
Desired:
Active CNDSP‑IR certification (GCIH, CSIH, CEH, or similar).
Previous work in a Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC).
Experience with COTS technologies commonly used in cyber engineering.
Work Environment & Physical Expectations:
Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
Frequent use of computers and standard office equipment.
Regular communication with team members, leadership, and customers—sometimes requiring presentations.
Ability to exchange accurate information in fast-moving and high-pressure scenarios.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
