Job Description:

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. As Product Owner of the “Customer Dashboard Mobile” team  you will shape various features helping our clients to get an easy access and transparent overview of their finances (e.g. Financial and Transactional Overview).

In front of your multidisciplinary team, you will be accountable for synthesizing stakeholders’ needs and shaping the overall team’s scope and mission, communicating clearly the desired business outcomes and delivery roadmap and, more than this, monitor its implementation it closely. You will thus ensure backlog is well managed in terms of priorities, dependencies and delivery timelines with a strong focus on high-quality delivery.

Hosted in the Product Area “Banking Products” you will work strongly together with other cross channel teams to gather synergies and create a consistent experience for our clients across the channels, brands and target groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, Create, and communicate Product Vision and Roadmap with the Business Owners, Delivery Teams & Solution/System Architects
  • Manage and prioritize backlog and ensure value delivery is embedded in Agile Planning and delivery via prioritized features and enablers
  • Continuously refine Product Backlog, re-prioritise basis criticality, cost and value
  • Primary point of contact liaison with all relevant stakeholders in Business and Engineering, giving them timely, transparent, and metric driven updates
  • Develop and own product backlog for a team to deliver automations across Private Bank Germany
  • Build deep relationships with users and customers in order to elicit requirements, shape Sustainability products vision, roadmap and release backlog, and drive adoption
  • Work with Product Area Lead, architecture, and engineering leadership to define and drive product strategy and execution
  • Support transition to a scaled agile framework as the product grows
  • Act as an expert voice on sustainability matters with the development teams
  • Ensure adherence to both the Bank’s and domain’s testing standards with focus on achieving further efficiencies and benefits through automated testing
  • Provide management, leadership, and technical/domain guidance to teams across multiple locations and senior escalation point for all stakeholders
  • Participate in the end-to-end development and release cycle working closely with squad team

 

Skills:

  • 5+ years experience as Product Owner/BFA and Product management proven experience working in an agile environment operating in a scrum or scaled agile framework, including experience working with JIRA, confluence and running agile events
  • 5+ years’ experience working in Financial Services or Banking industry, with projects or teams that worked with mobile app technologies
  • Strong in leadership capabilities (Ressourcing, Budgeting, HR Processes, Motivational/Team Building)
  • Understanding of feature development in context of a broader ecosystem of mobile app container, backend connectivity, etc.
  • Comfortable driving requirements and priority discussions with senior business stakeholders and explaining business concepts and requirements to engineering teams
  • Experience developing technology products and services incorporating data sourcing, management, analytics and reporting, including prototyping, requirements workshops and product delivery
  • Understanding of financial products and data across investment, corporate and private banking
  • Good understanding of the IT processes, software development and software operations; Knowledge of technical engineering best practices (e.g. test driven development, continuous integration, etc.)
