Job Summary

  • Design and build enterprise cloud infrastructure automation, pipeline automation and cloud capabilities used by the enterprise. Partner with application, security, and architecture teams to build re-usable and secure cloud infrastructure to be used by business applications. Knowledge of cloud computing industry trends and apply that knowledge to continually innovate and evolve the enterprise cloud platform.

  • As a Cloud DevOps Engineer - Data QA & Platform Testing, you’ll build and test the critical event-driven automation layer that connects creative intake with enterprise Digital Asset Management and publishing platforms.

    The role focuses on low-latency event-driven webhooks, API microservices, automated CI/CD testing, and observability rather than traditional server management or legacy infrastructure maintenance.

    You’ll serve as a technical authority for integration stability and reliability across creative platforms and cloud environments, helping ensure content renders and moves reliably across web and app experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Operate in a DevOps culture and team, responsible for architecture, design, development, implementation, and ongoing operations of new and emerging technology platforms

  • Implement automation tools and frameworks for automatic code deployment (CI/CD)

  • Lead the design, development, and evolution of cloud infrastructure

  • Establish and/or follow procedures and standards to ensure high quality and quantity of work

  • Establish or follow prioritization processes to drive work and has a sense of urgency about getting work completed

  • Consult with stakeholders to specify requirements and solutions which address business challenges and opportunities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud infrastructure, performing design reviews and consulting with your teams to ensure design best practices

  • Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery processes

  • Participate in system and acceptance testing to ensure that systems are functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well-integrated

  • Test and implement system and enhancements using techniques that preserve system integrity

  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

  • Build and validate event-driven automation connecting creative intake, Adobe platforms, and enterprise DAM workflows.

  • Design automated test suites for webhooks, event triggers, API connectors, and payload delivery across creative and publishing tools.

  • Build pipeline-testing scripts that run continuous-integration checks across sandbox, staging, and production content environments.

  • Manage serverless middleware supporting asset transformation and distribution services.

  • Establish CI/CD testing frameworks and observability standards across creative platforms and cloud environments.

  • Monitor platform health using asset-sync latency, API failure rates, webhook timeouts, logging, and IAM security controls.

  • Partner with downstream teams to validate rendering, performance, and latency across web and app experiences.

  • Support integration reliability and production readiness across Adobe Workfront, AEM, Adobe I/O, Fusion, and connected services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of AWS Infrastructure as a Service Automation tools like Cloud Formation

  • Knowledge of AWS compute, data sources, security technologies

  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IAC)

  • Skilled in deployment strategies using Docker for containerization

  • Skilled in monitoring tools

  • Ability to mentor and guide team members' learning, including introducing new ideas and technologies

  • Ability to anticipate business needs and lead a team towards identifying and solving cross-domain problems

  • Strong cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering knowledge with hands-on AWS experience.

  • Strong understanding of event-driven microservices, API connectors, webhooks, and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.

  • Strong automated testing and pipeline validation capability across multitenant environments.

  • Advanced knowledge of serverless middleware, observability, monitoring, and logging.

  • Ability to troubleshoot performance, latency, integration failures, webhook timeouts, and IAM-related issues.

  • Strong scripting and technical problem-solving capability using Python and SQL.

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training

Experience

  • Required: Intermediate-level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in Cloud software or DevOps

  • 2-5 years of relevant work-related experience

  • 5+ years of cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering experience, including hands-on AWS experience.

  • Experience validating event-driven microservices, API connectors, and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines across Adobe Workfront, AEM, Adobe I/O, and Fusion.

  • Experience designing automated test suites for webhooks, event triggers, and payload delivery.

  • Experience building automated pipeline-testing scripts across sandbox, staging, and production content environments.

  • Experience using monitoring and logging tools to assess platform health and event observability.

Preferred Experience

  • Container orchestration experience.

  • AWS monitoring experience.

  • CI/CD security and compliance experience.

  • Python/SQL scripting experience.

  • Akamai experience.

  • Experience working closely with digital delivery teams to validate rendering, performance, and latency across web and app channels.

Other Qualifications

  • Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company information

  • Ability to work extended hours as needed

  • Ability to work onsite approximately 3 days per week and as required by the business
