Who You’ll Work With:
We are looking for a Nashville based Business Continuity Analyst to join our team. The Business Continuity Analyst works closely with multiple areas of the business and technology to understand business goals and solution needs, to provide robust resiliency planning, builds relationships with business partners to achieve program objectives. Subject matter expert on a wide variety of Business Continuity best practices, such as BIA, and BC Planning / Testing. Supports Crisis Management program processes and response to incidents.
What You’ll Do:
The ability to negotiate, work independently, as well as provide solving and decision making is critical in this role. As such, experience is desired in program governance, enterprise crisis management, risk assessments (supplier, proximity and BIA), plan development / update / testing cycles, and training / awareness.
- Engage business partners, including Sr. Leadership, on BC goals and objectives. Obtain buy-in and ensure the delivery of results for annual resiliency objectives.
- Liaise with IT to ensure appropriate DR planning is in place to support critical business functions in the event of a disaster.
- Work with key business stakeholders to perform in-depth Business Impact Assessment (BIA) and risk assessments for current and emerging business areas.
- Develop and drive BC awareness efforts to ensure current methodologies, best practices and responsibilities are communicated to business partners.
- Ensure BCP testing is completed as scheduled, including key documentation of any findings and resiliency gaps.
- Work with business leadership to develop strategies for remediation of significant gaps identified in testing.
- Prepare and monitor detailed program metrics for reporting to senior management and applicable internal governance committees.
- Responsible for supporting crisis management response, which will include team training, plan updates, testing, and event response.
What We’re Looking For:
- BA or BS in Emergency / Disaster Management, Business, Computer Science, or related area. Related field experience desirable; practical experience plus education and certifications may be considered.
- Holds professional certifications related to position (CBCP, MBCP, etc.).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Business Resiliency and Emergency Management.
- Knowledge of information Business Continuity best practice standards (e.g., ISO 22301, DRI, etc.), rules and regulations related to all aspects of Business Continuity planning, testing and risk assessments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
- Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation), interpersonal and consultative skills are required.
- This position requires some weekend and evening assignments as well as availability during off-hours for participation in scheduled and unscheduled activities.
