Job Description:
The Freight Forwarding Operations - Lead Admin Associate supports the movement and growth opportunities for inbound and outbound cargo for freight forwarding customers. Ensures that freight is processed in compliance with governmental regulations (e. g. , Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, etc. ). Collaborates with vendors, customers, commercial airline carriers, ocean freightliners, and other internal support groups for the movement of international and domestic air and ocean shipments. Provides administrative or technical support to ensure effective on-going operations. Applies knowledge of established processes and procedures to execute with excellence. Requires advanced skills and expertise in a variety of work processes or activities. Anticipates patterns and links; looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications. Generates new and innovative solutions to complex problems. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices. May act as a team lead, coordinating the work of others, but not a supervisor.
