Role

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team in Bangalore (Hybrid), reporting to the Manager, Sales Development within the SDR department.

You will engage with enterprise cybersecurity leaders by researching their IT initiatives and challenges, driving highly personalized, account-based outreach, and initiating strategic conversations with CXOs to uncover priorities while articulating Zscaler’s Zero Trust value proposition.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

  • Research enterprise initiatives, challenges, and IT roadmaps to engage cybersecurity leaders
  • Drive personalized, account-based outreach via calls, emails, social, and video
  • Initiate conversations with CXOs and cybersecurity leaders to explore their projects and priorities
  • Schedule qualified meetings with decision-makers to advance sales opportunities
  • Articulate Zscaler’s Zero Trust value proposition and handle objections with confidence

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales or a related role
  • Strong command of business-level English
  • Ability to quickly grasp and articulate technology concepts

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Background in the security, SaaS, or software industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a relevant field
  • Skilled in account development, opportunity qualification, call planning, and territory management
