About the Role

We are looking for a MEP Engineer – Equipment Delivery to join our MEP Building Technology team in our Atlanta, GA office. This is a full-time, in-person position.

 

In this role, you will support mission-critical facilities, including data centers, by assisting with the procurement, coordination, and delivery of major mechanical and electrical equipment. The MEP Engineer – Equipment Delivery works closely with vendors, designers, and project teams to ensure equipment is compliant with project requirements and delivered on time and within budget.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the mechanical and electrical construction needs of mission-critical facilities and related projects.
  • Assist with procurement of mechanical and electrical equipment, including vendor coordination and contract deliverables.
  • Coordinate equipment submittals and manage deliverables from contract award through manufacturing and delivery.
  • Communicate regularly with MEP equipment vendors, design engineers, and onsite project teams.
  • Track equipment deliveries from manufacturing facilities to project sites and support associated cost tracking.
  • Review and interpret electrical, HVAC, plumbing, architectural, and civil drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate scopes, schedules, RFIs, and change orders in collaboration with project teams.
  • Ensure proper coordination of schedules, logistics, and delivery requirements to support project milestones.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and onsite teams to ensure equipment readiness.
  • Utilize standardized tools, processes, and procedures to support successful equipment delivery.
  • Track performance using KPIs and support data-driven analysis to improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting metrics.
  • Identify potential issues related to scope, schedule, cost, or logistics and support timely resolution.
