About the role
The Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) is seeking a psychologist to join the Heart and Mind Wellbeing Center within the Heart Institute. The Heart and Mind Wellbeing Center provides psychological support and mental health care that is critical for individuals and families affected by pediatric or congenital heart disease. Responsibilities for this position include providing evidence-based clinical care to patients of all ages and stages, their caregivers, and other family members, as well as program development and co-design of innovative approaches to delivering psychological care embedded within the context of cardiac care.
The ideal candidate will have completed a doctorate in clinical or pediatric psychology (APA accredited), be licensed or license-eligible in Ohio and through PsyPACT, with a preference for candidates with training or experience focused on children with congenital heart disease and their families.

Doctor of Medicine OR Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine OR equivalent
Unrestricted licensed physician
Approval/credentialing from CCHMC Medical Staff Services Division
Completion of all required pre-employment activities
Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility
Prior clinical practice experience may be required based on the needs of the department
Preferred: Board certification
