About the role

What You'll Do:

Partner Data Integration (PDI) is a product and engineering team at Criteo responsible for building the APIs, user interfaces, and data pipelines that power the ingestion, enrichment, and management of product catalog data. The team enables internal and external clients to configure, monitor, and explore catalog data, while developing scalable pipelines to integrate and enhance data quality, ensuring it is accurate, multi-dimensional, and ready for use across Criteo’s Performance and Retail Media platforms

  • Craft high-quality, maintainable code to build business-critical APIs, services and backend components to serve our clients’ creatives ensuring compliance with rigorous SLAs (less than 45ms) and handling up to 40 billion requests per day. 

  • Contribute to integrate and test Google's Privacy Sandbox proposals within CRITEO's creative ecosystem, contributing to a fundamental shift in internet advertising practices. 

  • In a multi-cultural team of 5-7, you will be collaborating closely with your mentor to drive your project, design and ensure best practices are applied. You can ask questions and participate in all knowledge-sharing sessions/workshops, etc. You are encouraged to actively voice your ideas whilst learning how to build and ship quality code into production which will affect millions of users instantly. 

  • Work with many other engineering teams to develop long-term roadmaps, ML models, designs and architectures to scale this infrastructure to meet product and business requirements. 

Who You Are:

  • You are a passionate software engineer with a keen interest in low-latency/large-scale back-end systems combined with a genuine eagerness to understand and implement product and business requirements. 

  • You have at least 2 years of experience with developing and extending large and complex systems.  

  • You are strongly committed to quality designs, automated testing and documentation. 

  • Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming, with expertise in at least one programming language such as C#, C++, or Java. 

  • Experience or a willingness to learn Front-End development, showcasing a genuine interest in UX using Angular/React and Javascript/Typescript. 

  • (Bonus) Familiarity with Machine Learning theory and models.
