Job Description
The work:
As a Data Scientist in this role, you will assist in the design and development of an application in Palantir Foundry to enable the client to track and forecast costs with space launch equipment. Your work will involve creating and implementing data models, visualizations, and Python scripts to analyze and interpret complex datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance applications in Palantir Foundry
- Build data models, visualizations, and automated workflows using Python
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure on‑time delivery
- Create user guides and technical documentation
Here is what you need:
- US citizenship (Secret clearance eligible)
- Bachelors degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience developing in Palantir Foundry
- Strong Python skills for custom algorithms and workflow automation
- Solid data engineering background
- Ability to present insights through clear, effective visualizations
Preferred experience:
- Active DOD Secret clearance highly desired
- Experience with cost‑tracking or cost‑forecasting tools
- Familiarity with aerospace or space launch datasets
