Job Description

As a Program Implementation Manager for Global Shared Services (GSS), you'll be responsible for managing the implementation of process improvement, automation, business expansion and/or GSS operational projects; aligned with team goals while working independently and seeking guidance as needed.
Key job responsibilities
Program & Project Ownership
Manage the implementation of process improvement, automation, business expansion and GSS operational projects while meeting timelines and minimizing disruption to partner and engineering teams. Establish and track program milestones and deliverables, proactively mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle. Partner with process experts to identify inefficiencies and deploy solutions targeting efficiency gains, including buffer time and planning for unexpected challenges to ensure dependencies remain intact.
Oversee roll-out processes including UAT and pilots, then manage post-launch adoption tracking and reporting. Analyze data to make educated decisions while building implementation plans using different mechanisms and tools to showcase implementation timelines, phases, and milestones. Prepare executive documentation including PFAQs, narratives, and project updates using Amazon's writing guidelines for senior leadership.
Partner Coordination and Forecast Alignment
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to support operational readiness, ensuring the right people are part of conversations. Work with stakeholders and partners to validate forecasts, identify new volume opportunities, and secure resources while setting project priorities and milestones. Identify stakeholder needs for business expansion opportunities and serve as the first point of contact for GSS-related questions and topics.
Maintain recurrent connections to showcase GSS support and capture feedback, with cadence varying per region depending on the number of services GSS supports. Capture process gaps and process-level escalations from a partner standpoint, working backwards with GSS Ops. Enable alignment between GSS Ops leaders and Sports GSS partners while sharing support best practices among regions. Lock agreement on quarterly forecasts and support adjusting forecast expectations.
Strategic Execution & Decision Making
Understand relevant business requirements, goals, and interdependencies in your program area. Help GSS and Tech teams make trade-offs considering GSS goals, compliance, process workflow dependencies, and quality. Drive crisp and timely decisions, clear blockers, and escalate appropriately when needed.
Recognize when proposed ideas are too complex or risky and arrange additional stakeholder reviews. Prevent or mitigate consequences of poor business decisions. Determine if success metrics are in place; if not, work to define them.
Program Communication & Documentation
Own all program communication across stakeholders, communicating effectively with various audiences including senior leadership. Provide clear status updates and maintain transparency throughout project lifecycles. Foster collaboration across teams and organizations while sharing best practices and learnings.
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
