Join Microsoft in this amazing opportunity as a Program Manager II launching innovative and impactful AI -ready solutions across Microsoft’s Devices Operations business.
As a Product Owner, you will help lead the development and implementation of AI solutions and AI-ready architecture by partnering with engineering and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable plans, prioritize and manage backlogs, and deliver programs that drive measurable business value. You will own the rhythm of execution, managing sprints, schedules, and release plans while monitoring product performance and ensuring that solutions are adopted successfully. Acting as both a program driver and a trusted advisor, you will identify trends in product quality and performance, guide continuous improvement, and influence technical decisions that align to business priorities.

Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering and solution managers to define product features, translate them into engineering requirements, and maintain a clear and prioritized backlog.
- Lead the day-to-day execution rhythm including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment on goals and delivery outcomes.
- Manage schedules, dependencies, and release plans, proactively surfacing risks and driving mitigation across teams.
- Define, track, and report on key product metrics (OKRs, KPIs) to measure adoption, performance, and business impact of AI solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements, gather feedback, and align on trade-offs that balance business priorities with technical feasibility.
- Drive release readiness and rollout activities to ensure smooth deployment and effective adoption of AI capabilities.
- Identify patterns and trends in product quality, performance, and usage, using insights to guide continuous improvement.
- Model accountability, curiosity, and collaboration in daily work by building trust across teams, owning outcomes, and leading by example.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 5+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Agile Methodology or Scrum certifications or experience.
