About the role
Our customer, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), acts as the provider of Defense Information System Network (DISN) services to its customers, the department of War (DoW) and national security organizations. This position directly supports the DISA-provided capabilities and services in our 24x7 Joint Fires Network (JFN) NOC often working in tandem with our Transport, IP, SATCOM, and/or Unified Capabilities (UC) NOCs.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead daily contractor operations and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned tasks, staffing, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with JFN documentation, DoW policies, DISA guidance, local TTPs, and Watch Officer procedures.
Represent the JFN NOC in meetings and working groups, assessing operational impacts of proposed changes and initiatives.
Serve as liaison with DISA stakeholders to maintain awareness of operational requirements and priorities.
Oversee network operations supporting customer programs across the DISA Enterprise Network.
Analyze requirements, system architectures, and operational issues to resolve network outages and service disruptions.
Provide technical guidance and communicate network-related issues and solutions to customers and senior leadership.
Monitor network performance, verify system configurations, and respond to alarms and incidents.
Utilize ticketing systems to track, manage, and resolve customer issues.
Manage program execution, team performance, and contract deliverables to meet mission objectives.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and configuration management records.
Identify process improvements and recommend solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.
Assign and supervise contractor personnel while ensuring successful execution of technical and operational tasks.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience. 2+ years of experience leading teams, projects, or technical operations.
Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
Understanding of JFN architecture and signal flow.
Working knowledge of transport and IP network topologies.
Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting DISA operations, network management, or communications infrastructure.
Prior experience leading contractor teams in a government or Department of Defense environment.
Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM/JIRA) tools, incident management processes, and operational reporting.
Experience briefing senior government officials and executive-level stakeholders.
Knowledge of network monitoring, performance management, and configuration management best practices.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
