You lead the demand planning process for Tate's Bake Shop, owning the weekly and monthly demand plan at the SKU/customer level and serving as the critical link between Sales, Supply Planning, and CS&L performance reporting
How you will contribute:
You will own and execute the tactical demand plan for Tate's, ensuring it is current, accurate, and reflects the latest commercial inputs. You will serve as the primary demand planning partner to Tate's customer Sales teams, translating field intelligence into a clean, actionable demand signal for Supply Planning. In addition, you will build and maintain CS&L performance dashboards and automated reporting that give the team real-time visibility into forecast accuracy, fill rate, OTIF, and inventory health. In this role, you will track forecast accuracy and bias, perform root-cause analysis on misses, facilitate customer-level demand reviews, and develop ad hoc analyses to support business decisions across promotions, distribution scenarios, and SKU rationalization.
Job Responsibilities:
Demand Planning Execution:
Maintain the weekly and monthly demand plan at the SKU and customer level ensuring inputs are current and the plan reflects the latest commercial activity.
Manage the short-term demand signal weekly pacing, SKU/location mix, near-term adjustments so Supply Planning always has a clean, actionable picture.
Review consumption versus forecast at the customer and total product level; flag risks and variances to the cross functional IBP team.
Track forecast accuracy (MAPE) and bias at the SKU and customer level; support root-cause analysis on misses.
Maintain data integrity in the demand planning system, including SKU hierarchies, planning parameters, and historical baselines.
Customer Sales Team Collaboration:
Serve as the day-to-day demand planning contact for Tate’s customer Sales teams, owning the information flow between Sales and the demand plan at a sku/location level.
Collect, document, and incorporate commercial inputs from Sales into the forecast promotions, new distribution, shelf resets, and account-specific changes escalating material changes to the Demand planning lead.
Support the customer-level demand review process by preparing account-level forecast reports, POS trend analyses, and variance summaries for Sales team discussions.
System integrity:
Execute the demand planning set-up for all new items, Limited offerings, End of life, master data, etc..
Track new item performance versus launch forecast and flag early variances to the broader team.
Process item transitions and discontinuations in the planning system, ensuring data remains clean throughout the item lifecycle.
Dashboards, Reporting & Analysis:
Build and maintain CS&L performance dashboards in Power BI covering forecast accuracy, customer fill rate, OTIF, inventory health, and new item tracking.
Develop automated reports that reduce manual work and give the CS&L team timely visibility into business performance.
Prepare ad hoc analyses promotional lift, SKU performance, distribution scenarios with clean, ready-to-use outputs
Ensure accuracy and consistency of all data flowing into reports and dashboards.
What you will bring:
Demand Planning and Supply Chain expertise, including strong analytical skills and proven experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales and Supply teams. Demonstrated experience in:
Delivering and supporting SKU-level demand plans in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.
Influencing demand planning strategy with data-driven insights that translate into business benefit.
Collaborating across functions (Sales, Supply, Finance) to align on a single demand signal.
Building dashboards and automated reporting (Power BI preferred).
Relentless curiosity and a continuous improvement mentality.
Building internal networks for effective communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement.
Job specific requirements:
Minimum 5–7 years of work experience in demand planning, supply chain, or related analytical roles.
Experience in CPG/food & beverage industry strongly preferred.
Proficiency in demand planning systems (e.g., SAP APO/IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder) and Power BI.
Demonstrated ability to manage SKU-level forecasts and collaborate with Sales teams.
Excellent communication, problem solving & decision-making skills.
Proven ability to build dashboards and automate reporting processes.
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Analytics, Engineering, or related field required.
Master's degree or APICS/IBF certification preferred
Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $86,900 to $119,515; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time.
