As a valued member of our Emergency Department, you will work alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and multidisciplinary specialists in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Position Summary
As an Emergency Department Physician Assistant, you will participate in all aspects of emergency care, including:
- Patient assessment, triage, and management
- Emergency resuscitation and stabilization
- Fast Track evaluation and treatment
- Performing emergency procedures, including:
- Intubation
- Chest tube insertion
- Central venous line placement
- Other advanced bedside procedures
- Development and implementation of treatment plans
- Patient education and discharge planning
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
This is a full-time, rotating shift position that includes days, evenings, nights, and up to two weekends per month.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of Emergency Department experience as a Physician Assistant
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current New York State Physician Assistant License
- Current NCCPA Certification
- Current ACLS and BLS Certifications
- New York State Infection Control Certification
