Responsibilities
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will:
- Work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans
- Assist residents in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
- Bring encouragement, creativity, and compassion to each therapy session
Qualifications
- Current California COTA license
- Passion for patient-centered care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but not required
