Job Overview

The RN Manager is responsible for the administrative and business oversight of nursing patient care services at the assigned clinic or the Patient Service Center. The Manager works collaboratively with the Site Medical Director, Clinic Director, and Administrative leadership team to achieve clinic quality, patient satisfaction, and financial goals. The Manager manages operations and services that add value and are integrated with nursing standards of practice, service priorities, and performance/outcome measures, as well as with strategic, business, and organizational goals/objectives. The Manager is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of clinical care services/programs, which include patient experience, patient safety, HEDIS, and value-based care quality measures, budgets, etc. The Manager is also developing and implementing quality, cost-effective, efficient, standardized patient care practices, processes, systems, and protocols, and ensures all back-office staff are up to date on clinic objectives through maintaining Quality boards, presenting progress at staff meetings, etc. The Manager serves as team leader and provides mentorship and support for nursing and clinical support staff at the assigned location, and is responsible for staff development. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, in lieu of a degree, 4 or more years of leadership experience.

  • Master’s degree in health services, business administration, or management preferred.

  • A current, valid license as a registered nurse through the California Board of Registered Nursing is required.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred in an outpatient or inpatient setting; ambulatory care setting preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role.

  • Experience with audits and healthcare inspections preferred.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish/Cantonese preferred.

  • Prior experience with an Electronic Health/Medical (EHR/EMR) system is required.

  • A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

Pay for this job starts at $119,974.40 annually
