About the role
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for maintaining cleanliness of breakrooms and restrooms. Performs work in compliance with company policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and breakroom (i.e. emptying trash, cleaning toilets, mopping floors, etc.)
- Refill all paper products (paper towels, toilet paper) and soap dispensers
- Clean and sanitize tables and counters using correct chemicals
- Restock cart prior to shift end for next shift.
- Report unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel
- Perform additional relevant duties as assigned
EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Must be able to work unsupervised to complete all tasks self-motivate
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
- Follow all departmental and company safety policies and programs
- Wear required protective equipment in all areas where mandatory
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC)
- Must be able to push/pull cart
- Ability to stand for up to eight hours
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
