About the Role
The Reporting & Dashboarding Intern will support the Reporting Team in transforming and visualizing campaign and business data into meaningful dashboard and reporting outputs. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to reporting automation, dashboard development, data management, and digital media analytics while supporting ongoing projects and operational tasks.
The WPP Media Reporting Team is responsible for extracting, transforming, and visualizing data from multiple platforms and systems to provide actionable insights for agencies and clients.
Individual Responsibilities
- Assist the Reporting Team in developing and maintaining dashboards using reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio
- Support data preparation activities including retrieving, compiling, organizing, and formatting data from multiple sources
- Conduct basic data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports
- Assist in updating reporting templates and ensuring dashboards are properly maintained
- Support documentation of reporting requirements, workflows, and data mapping structures
- Work closely with team members on ongoing reporting automation and dashboard enhancement initiatives
- Provide operational support for recurring reporting tasks and ad-hoc projects
- Any other tasks or projects assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Technical Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in STEM disciplines, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields
- Basic understanding or interest in data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and data handling concepts
- Interest in data analytics, dashboarding, automation, and digital marketing technology
- Basic knowledge of the following is added advantage:
- scripting or programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or VBA.
- BigQuery
- dbt
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to manage tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment
