We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Global R&D Infrastructure Strategy Lead to define and drive the long-term strategy for R&D infrastructure across all global sites. This senior role is responsible for global standardization, modernization, and digital enablement of R&D environments.
Reporting directly to Global R&D Management, you will lead global transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) automation, interoperability between global labs, and alignment of infrastructure capabilities with strategic R&D priorities.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Process Control Platform Division in Bangalore and Vasteras (Sweden) .
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Define and execute a unified global R&D infrastructure strategy aligned with R&D leadership and corporate technology direction.
- Establish global governance, standardization practices, and infrastructure frameworks for IT, OT, and lab environments across regions to achieve seamless availability of the R&D Infrastructure.
- Enable interoperability and seamless connectivity between global R&D labs, ensuring consistent user experience, data flow, and infrastructure compatibility.
- Lead cloud transformation initiatives to enable cloud‑based lab systems, scalable compute, and digital R&D capabilities.
- Champion the adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for automation, consistency, and secure provisioning of global R&D infrastructure.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of global R&D systems, networks, and lab infrastructure.
- Drive standardization and optimization of asset management, inventory workflows, and global software licensing compliance.
- Collaborate with global engineering, IT, OT, cybersecurity, and facilities teams to enable strategic R&D programs.
- Establish and track global KPIs for infrastructure performance, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
- Advise global R&D leadership on infrastructure capabilities, emerging technologies, risks, and long‑term modernization paths.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related fields.
- 12–15 years of experience in global or multi‑site infrastructure management, ideally within R&D settings.
- Demonstrated leadership in cloud technologies (Azure ARC, AWS) and infrastructure modernization.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, ARM, CloudFormation, etc.
- Strong knowledge of IT/OT systems, lab infrastructure, networking, and global interoperability concepts.
- Knowledge of Kubernates, Linux Administration will be added advantage.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
