KBR is looking for Accounts payable accountant who can Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring proper approvals and documentation.
Location: Khobar
Nationality: Saudi Only
Key Responsibilities
- Verify invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and delivery notes
- Record accounts payable transactions in the accounting system
- Prepare and process supplier payments in accordance with agreed credit terms
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or payment issues
- Assist in month‑end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Maintain accurate and organized AP files and records
- Respond to vendor and internal queries regarding payments and balances
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal controls
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or junior accounting role
- Basic understanding of VAT regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Experience working with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP)
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- Basic to intermediate MS Excel skills
- Good communication skills in English & Arabic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
