We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Scientist to join our Tissue Culture Core facility within the Therapeutic Proteins department. You will provide key support to R&D cell culture needs through cell line inventory management, cell expansion, quality control, and other ancillary activities.

Location: Tarrytown, NY - onsite
Discover your role:
- Maintains various mammalian cell lines for inventory expansion
- Oversees general lab maintenance
- Uses software to manage tissue culture services and workflows
- Works with automated cell culture and/or cell line storage systems
This role requires:
- A minimum of a BS/MS in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field, with 0-3 years of relevant laboratory experience
- Experience working with tissue culture, including thawing, freezing, and maintaining cell lines
- Proficiency in general lab maintenance and sterile technique
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate across groups in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with collaborators across the organization
- Experience with cell line engineering using lentiviral and CRISPR/Cas9 technology is a plus
- Experience operating automated cell line storage equipment is advantageous
