About the role

RF and System Validation Engineer

The RF Validation Engineer will join the NFC (Near Field Communication) RF validation team which covers the validation of NFC mobile products targeting NFC charging, contactless payment and transport markets. You will be responsible for the complete system (NFC and wireless charging) verification and Validation. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in an international organization and to cooperate with various domain experts.

In this exciting role, you will be challenged by taking over responsibility for RF validation tasks.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Verification and Validation for NFC and Wireless charging
  • Develop end-to-end System test plan to validate all System requirements.
  • Execution, reporting, debugging and tracking of validation tasks in a global product development team
  • Optimization of the RF performance of our contactless products with respect to existing standards, interoperability and product requirements
  • Providing technical inputs for application notes, key customer support and design-in activities

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (Electronics, RF and Microwave engineering, communications, similar)
  • 3 - 6 years of Experience in RF System Design and Validation.
  • Basic understanding of RF communication systems (transmitter/receiver architecture know how a is plus), Antenna matching, modulation & coding techniques etc.
  • Hands-on experience in using lab equipment including RF debug tools, trace tools, logic analyzer, oscilloscope, Signal generator, Network analyzer, sniffers, power meter , board schematics etc.
  • Experience in Writing testcases in Links C. C++ or C#
  • Experience in Automation using Python etc
  • Experience with Simulation Tools: Spice Simulator (ADC, LTSpice, Cadence - Orcad) is a benefit
  • Good knowledge of Mathematic tools: Matlab, Mathcad
  • Good understanding of Antenna Matching.
  • Background or experience with NFC, Wireless charging is a benefit
  • Good documentation skills. Excellent command of written and spoken English
